Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use project-lane.com or order from Project Lane. By enquiring, booking or purchasing, you agree to them.

1. About Project Lane
Project Lane is a handmade art studio based in Brisbane, Australia [ABN if you have one]. In these terms, "I", "me" and "my" mean Project Lane.

2. Quotes and bookings
Prices on this website are a guide. Your exact price is confirmed in your quote and depends on size, detail and material. Your booking is confirmed once payment is received. Spots are limited each month, and I may decline a commission that isn't the right fit.

3. Design and approval
You'll receive up to 3 to 4 design options, with unlimited tweaks during the design stage. Please check all names, spelling, dates and colours carefully before approving. Once you approve your final design, your banner goes into production and changes can't be made. I'm not responsible for errors in a design you've approved.

4. Inspiration and original work
You're welcome to send photos and ideas you love. I don't copy other artists' work, so your design will always be my own original take.

5. Ownership of your design
You own your finished banner. I keep the copyright in the artwork and design, including any concepts you don't choose. Designs are for your personal use and can't be reproduced, resold or given to another maker to copy without my written permission.

6. Photos of your banner
I may share photos of your banner on my website and social media. If you'd prefer I didn't, just let me know.

7. Handmade products
Every piece is painted by hand, so small variations from your digital design are normal. Colours can also look slightly different on screen.

8. Shipping, cancellations and refunds
These are covered in my Shipping Policy and my Refund and Cancellation Policy, which form part of these terms.

9. Website content
All images, designs and text on this website belong to Project Lane and can't be copied or used without permission.

10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where the law allows me to limit my liability, it is limited to resupplying your order or refunding what you paid.

11. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you book is the one that applies to your order.

12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
