Refund and Cancellation Policy
Every Project Lane banner is designed and painted by hand, just for you. Because each piece is made to order, this policy works a little differently to a regular shop.
Change of mind
I don't offer refunds or returns for change of mind. Please take your time with your quote and design options before going ahead, and ask me anything you're unsure about.
Cancelling your order
- Before you've paid: you're welcome to cancel at any time.
- After payment, before production begins: I'll gladly refund your payment minus a $50 design fee, which covers the design work already completed.
- Once production has begun: I can't offer a refund for change of mind.
Production means I've started sketching or painting your banner. My schedule changes week to week, so production can start anywhere from the day after you approve your design to a week or more later. You're welcome to request a cancellation at any time, but please assume production may have already started.
Changes to your design
Unlimited tweaks are included during the design stage. Once you approve your final design, changes can't be made.
Damaged, faulty or not what you approved
Please check your banner when it arrives. If it's damaged, faulty or doesn't match the design you approved, contact me as soon as you can with a photo and I'll make it right with a repair, replacement or refund. If I need the banner sent back, I'll cover the postage.
Handmade variations
Every banner is painted by hand, so small differences in colour, brushwork and placement from your digital design are normal and part of its charm. These aren't considered faults.
Refunds
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any other consumer law that applies to you.
